Expressionist Egyptian artist Hala Sharouny graduated from Helwan University in 2004 and holds a Masters degree in painting and drawing. Hala’s work is characterized by its dynamic, playful techniques. Her palette is diverse and vibrant. Her artwork addresses contemporary social issues like women and society with a twist of humor. Working now as a Professional freelance artist , her work has been locally and internationally exhibited. Hala participated in many workshops and general exhibitions inside and outside of Egypt (Cairo , Alexandria , Sharm El Sheikh, Suhag , Vienna , Tunisia , Gaza, Khan Youniss, Istanbul , Fethiye , Vierzon , Kuwait ) Besides being a professional visual artist she has also done some political graffiti before and after the revolution in Egypt.
